Our Programs

We empower youth to become informed, engaged, and active members of their communities

Civic Based Learning Program

  • Physical and/or Online Lessons and presentations on American civic values, civil dialogue, and developing a civic project.

  • A 6-step model of civic engagement, with lessons and support for each step​

  • Assistance with inquiry and research, including community experts and non-profit partners​

  • Fun leadership and civic engagement activities

Our Ethnic Studies program, grounded in Sankofa, Enlightenment ideals, and American civic values, helps educators create balanced and inclusive classrooms.

State Seal of Civic Engagement

The State Seal of Civic Engagement is an award for high school graduates who demonstrate civic responsibility.  This recognition motivates students to apply the their knowledge, skills, and values of American citizenship.  Students who earn this seal will have an advantage in job applications, college applications and scholarships.
